EDL and batch functionality

Hi,

I really would love an EDL import function in RedCine.
For a feature film, it would be great to export the quicktimes, do the editing and then import the EDL back into RedCine to export only the needed dpx files at 4k for colouring and compositing.

Are there plans to implement EDL support? Or is it going to be a manual job?

redcine has a XML support.
you have to export a FCP XML, translate this to a redcine XML, load your shots, import the redcine XML, output.

Or you can bring your EDL and .r3d footage to a scratch suite. SCRATCH can conform directly from the r3d files.
