editing 6k to 8k on my 15inch macbook

Surprisingly easier and capable of doing than I expected. I can edit the .r3d in resolve on my 2.5GHz quad core intel core i7 processor, 16bg 1600 MHZ DDR3 memory and intel iris pro 1536MB graphics.

All I need to do to get normal playback is go to PLAYBACK, PROXY MODE and set it at half or quarter resolution... nice a simple. do the edit and then change my timeline to high resolution at the end. seems to work... any other tips from anyone?

Change your debayer settings lower too while you edit. On delivery you can always check the box that says RENDER FULL DEBAYER.
