The Festival welcomes submissions from Scottish, UK and International filmmakers.
All genres will be considered - we have previously screened everything from drama to animation, music
to documentary, experimental to comedy and all genres in-between.

Films must have been completed after the 1st January 2011, the maximum duration is 20 minutes.

The deadline for applications is Friday 3rd May.
The venues for this year's event include Edinburgh's new multi-million pound arts venue, Summerhall
as well as our traditional home at the Granary in Leith and also the stylish and opulent environs of the Voodoo Lounge just off Princes Street.

A couple of tabs including the submissions tab are not working.

I'd enter but no festival wants a short that's 34 minutes... I've won three festivals with my current one but I keep getting these notes from festival directors saying it's just too long (even though they say "up to 40 minutes").

They are working now, but thanks for the heads up!

Hi Jason
in my experience UK short film festivals seek submissions around the 20-25 minute mark - the major feature film festivals that also screen shorts tend to have a longer max limit, not sure what the convention in the US is!
Anyway, good luck with your film!
