First post. Currently I'm in the market for a new slider and am trying to decide which company I should go with. On my past couple projects I've had the opportunity to use Edelkrone SliderPlus Medium and in my opinion I felt the footage came out pretty good. I feel like the slides could be a little more consistent and there could be potentially a minuscule less deviation (while shooting with a long lens) while the camera moves along the track but at the end of the day it gets the job done. On the other hand I've never used a pocket dolly before but from what gear reviews I've read and watched online, it seems to be the indie standard. What do you guys think? Is there anybody out there who has experience working with both? Is there a brand that I might be overlooking?
