[FS: GEAR] Ebay Scammer

[Mike McMillin]

Guy trying to scam me buying a set of lenses today from eBay. Sent me a fake ebay invoice. Looked very real. Almost fell for it had I not happed to see he deleted (or maybe he was banned) his ebay account as soon as I purchased the item

Member since 2010 but just deleted the account? Original account must have been hacked. Wonder how often that happens.

It's crazy how often eBay accounts are hacked. Definitely be careful!

Just be careful out there sending large amounts of money on ebay. So many scam tactics these days. We are already hustling enough I would hate to see fellow cameramen loose money to some piece of shit

I have a set of primes up there now and I'm getting offers from people to pay off of ebay through paypal. I've never used ebay for such a large sale. Is that a rippoff/scammer warning?

There's a sticky thread at the top of this forum made just for this kind of posting.

You should probably move the conversation up there right?
