  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Ebay Scam alert!?

I had images from an item I was auctioning on ebay "repurposed", now whenever I am selling I watermark my images. Ebay should make this mandatory, they could even automate the process...
 
Thats why I'm leery of ebay for big ticket items... too many scams out there. If there is an actual Nigerian Prince, I feel bad for him... cant tell ya how many times I've met his impersonator :/

I know, as scam's go, that one's a pretty poor effort! Very lazy! lol

But seriously, thank god it is. I've been stung by really authentic ones in the past. Always wary now!

It's obvious it's a scam.. Look at his ratings.. that raise red flags.
 
At least it is now easier than it used to be to get your money back if scammed, it used to be very very difficult. However it would be so much better if there were better safeguards to make it less prevalent in the first place.

Got to have your wits about you on ebay. Its easy to get taken in by things because you want it to be true. I've been there!
