Hey guys,
So I originally started this thread because I wanted an EasyRig at a more affordable price to save my precious back from hand holding my monster Red One MX package for a reality tv series I was shooting. Client wanted Red so I had to find a solution to keep from killing my back haha!
Anyways, I ended up talking with Jason Compareto from Cinema Oxide and he engineered a custom rig for me now known as the 'Zero-G rig.' I was more or less the beta tester and semi-co developer in terms of telling Jason what my experience was and what needed to be adapted to make it comfortable. Long story short we got it dialed in and I used the rig to my liking on the reality tv show and on our Syfy feature film "Dead Still" shot on my former Red One MX w/ Cooke 18-100 rig (shameless plug, but the 'Dead Still' airs on October 6th by the way so check it out!)
Moreover, I recently upgraded my camera to a Red Scarlet Dragon and I no longer have a "need" for my Zero-G rig + I could use the extra funds to pay for other gear, so I am looking to sell it to a fellow Reduser. Checkout my for sale thread for more info. I know I will regret selling when I get a call for another hand held shoot haha
