Hi all,
With a DSMC2 camera (Weapon MG) and a RED Magnesium S35 PL Mount, anyone have tried to connect any lens with Cooke /i Technology and see the lens data in the camera's monitor?
Specifically, can you see in real time at the monitor the focus distance and the lens focal length?
I've tried with a several DZOFilm Vespid2 lens and the only thing I can see at the monitor is the aperture setting...
The RED MG PL Mount that I'm using has 4 contacts so I've assumed it should be able to pass the basic lens data (aperture, focus distance and focal length) to the camera.
I should add that I've checked under the lens metadata tab (menu > settings > setup > lens > metadata) and although the lens full name was correct, at the bottom of the window, the "lens min. focal length" and "Lens max. focal length" were both just showing "0"!
Any feedback is appreciated.
Thanks
