EPIC MYSTERIUM-X:
The higher the ISO - dynamic range favors highlights and lights; vice versa with low ISOs.

I want the dynamic range skewed toward the absolute edge of extreme highlights and near clipping. How far can you push ISO before grain is too much of an issue? Is there a point where you won't see the ISO-dynamic range relationship anymore?

I wonder what extreme highlights looks like with Dragon...

Andrew,

The answer to this is its dependant on the lighting conditions, quality of light (colour temp), the nature of the photographed subjects and the "acceptable" level of noise. I think its quite shot dependant therefore if you want to live and shoot on the extreme edges it can be difficult to know when you have just gone too far and are falling of the edge. Testing of your particular circumstances is the only way to determine these answers. There are no simple formulas.

That's insane. Noise isn't too bad for 12800.
I just got my Joker Bug 800 yesterday. I will do a high key scene and really push the highlights to the edge. I will post the results here.

Ha ha ha, Pillow Look Like Mountain
(miniature :D )
