Dynacore Mini series battery for Red

Hey Zou,

Any word on the new Mini's that will display % on RED cameras? Very interested in purchasing those. Thanks!

Hi Brendan
Now, I didn't get any any update about it, maybe we need to wait to next yesr~~

Just wanted to say we've been using Dynacore batteries for 3 years. They have a lot of power. We have the 220 and 260 watt hour versions. They do a great job on full body Alexas and run Dragons for a LONG time.

We'll be getting some of these smaller versions for RED cameras.

The company has been really easy to work with. Kai is great. A hearty recommendation from us.

These batteries are sick. Super happy so far. Solidly made, light and powerful. I have 2 x 155 and I only wish that the 95 was smaller than the 155, seems to share same dimensions and weight.
Other than that, great batteries plus they seem to charge faster than the quoted 4 hours which was a great bonus.

Which cam ? Which "plate" are you using to connect camera to battery ? Which type of batt (Anton B or V-lock), and which which DynaCore Mini batt ? Which version
of firmware ? You have other batts to test with ?

I have 2 Dyna Minis (both the 155 Wh in AB mount), and they both work very well with Mg Weapon connected via the Wooden Camera belt clip.

Anyone have a problem with these batteries like your camera turns on, but the power light stays on amber color and never switches to green?

I have a new Epic-W with I/O V-Lock expander and just received the Dyna Mini 95S. Unfortunately they are the only V-Mount i have currently so I don't have another battery to test. When the camera is plugged into the wall via the supplied adapter everything is "green" but with these the PWR led is always amber.

Buddy has a Raven with the I/O V-Lock and noticed his batteries that don't supply percent (Dracast) also leave the power light as Amber. Truth is, and I haven't been able to test this, there's a little switch with a star at the top of the V-Lock that allows you to switch between some sort of gimbal remote record-enable mode (for flying externally from a plane or such) and regular power mode. Try switching that with the camera off and see if it returns to green. Wondering if the Amber light is just to show that it's ready for remote record.

Hey Anthony thanks for the reply. That switch on the V-Lock is only for auto booting the camera when DC power is detected. I posted this question on a group on FB and it seems there are quite a few people with the same thing going on. Maybe due to the battery not communicating with the camera. Thank you again, hearing that your friend has the same thing going on makes me feel better.

Hey Kurtis, I briefly had a similar problem with the 155S, but it went away after I did a firmware update on my Epic-W. Also, make sure you really lock that battery in tight. I noticed some issues when I didn't put in enough force when locking the DM-155S battery in.

Where did you find your DM-95S batteries? I've sent two emails to Kai at Dynacore and haven't received a response yet.

I just ordered 4 gold mount 155 minis from that eBay seller. Arrived in like two days.

I tried emailing Kai before ordering the eBay batts, no dice for a long time. Glad I have four more.
