Hi everyone.

I'll be shooting a project this summer that will end up on DVDs and Blue Rays for a client.

I've done some research but, geeez, there's a lot of choices out there and prices per quantity (we need 2000 units) vary quite a bit. My client says, "I want the DVD packaging to look like I walked into a Best Buy and bought it off the shelf and when I pop it in my system at home I want it to look like it came from Paramount Pictures.".

If there is a DVD service any of you could recommend I would greatly appreciate it. Additionally, if you could point out who to avoid that would be great too.

Thank you very much!

Thanks for the comments, guys. Perhaps I should've included more details.
I don't think we need to go the Deluxe-in-Burbank route. A little too Deluxe. This guy is a used car salesman in northern Michigan so his idea of a 'quality production' is cross fade transitions and properly synced audio.

The production will be great but we don't need to go crazy. Just so long as the package is nice and the disks work well and look good. The budget is between $3000-$7500. My team will have the outside and inside covers designed and set.

I'm looking for recommendations from people who have used a DVD service in the past and have been satisfied.

Hi, David.
I'm after encoding and replication.

For short run replicating and encoding you could use someone like discmakers.com. They're not the best in the world, but if it's for a small job I'm sure it would be fine.

Thanks, Nathan.
Have you personally used them before? Or have you seen their final product in person?

+1 Discmakers... I used them in the past (when CDs huge deal).

Thanks, Mat_G. I appreciate it.
