  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

. . . I guarantee it.

I am editing a feature on an old MacBook Pro using CS5.5 and it's working great. . . except that my darn hard drive is running WAY out of space. I just checked, and found that I have over 70 GIGS of space is being occupied by Adobe cache files.

So here's my stupid question:

Once a sequence has been edited, can I delete these files? Or will I need to keep them around. All of these files have my R3D number and then a .cfa as the extension.

Thanks much, guys.

And please don't laugh too hard.

Clearing cache files is not an issue. Just keep in mind if you need to open up the project, or file again, it will have to re-conform and will make opening up a project a little slower again just for the first time as the cache gets built.

It's actually good to clear your cache every so often if you work on short form work and never touch it again after you ship.
