Got one over 10 years ago and it's so handy. It certainly can't resolve corners like a Zeiss UP 8R or Sigma 14mm cine prime, but it's no slouch. The utility of being able to reframe by zooming is particularly nice when you're that wide. If you've ever burned 10 minutes or more trying to get lights and other things out of the frame on the big wide master, being able to zoom in slightly to frame things out is so much faster. It's also small enough to fit in a hole in most prime cases. I used to put it in a small 4 hole Pelican with a 24, 50 & 85 when I needed to keep my lens kit small for travel/backcountry work.

Cheers - #19

It's a great lens...just don't use it enough to justify ownership anymore. Does come in handy when you need to quickly reframe.
