  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Ducati Pike's Peak Video Shot On iPhone4

Ah, so that is what was going on at the peak last weekend.

Considering it was shot on a phone, it looks pretty cool. Aside from that, it looks like it was shot on a crappy 1/4" almost-HD camcorder or a FlipHD, or...

Don't have the link handy, but I saw Rodney Charters shot some stuff with the iPhone4 and projected it on a 2K Christie -- said it looked pretty good. I'm not sure I really understand, but OK, whatever. From a pure camera geek perspective I do agree it's fun to do such things with a gadget like the iPhone4 to see how far consumer devices are coming along I guess. I have to admit, I do equally geeky things.
 
Not that the audio was all that good, but wonder if it was all from the iphone...
 
Love that Bike, as a former All terrain Motorcycle owner, this represent the absolute top on today's technology, no other bikes gets close in its class, including the Mythical BMW!!

Great work on the iPhone, sound is expected when non recording via a Pro Audio and mic system it would have been the same with any on board mic camera.
 
Not sure that was an iPhone strapped to his helmet but, as Jeff so sagely put it, whatever...

yeah, I was wondering whether or not there was an external mic.
