  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

DUBAI... ABU DABI... And KETCH ROSSi STUDiOS ITALY...

Ketch, sounds great and if I'm free at that time I'll contact you for sure...
 
Ketch May God Bless you man, Honestly. and I have no doubt you will fulfill your dreams and in the way other people's too. I almost drove from Idaho to utah to meet you in person when you got the epic . but I could not... if you ever come and visit Steve let me know I would love to meet you guys.

Now that I'm back in Italy will be hard to make it back to the US aside form visits to LA to RED and to get my OSCARS he he.

But I'm sure one day I'll have you at the Studios... ;)

Fact is that after recent events, I know, this will be my last work on this Earth, in this life, so I'll be sure to make it count...

And when all aspects of this project will be revealed, then it will be understood why this will be my last... ;)

Thanks Kegan... I sure wish would be so...

But unless Stem technologies and Pig grown organs become a reality, it would not be as easy to get going that long...

However what is important to me most is to at list have in off time to do it right and make sure it will continue to operate in its own...

Pretty much so as Steve J. has done with Apple, in my scale of things I could Dream for too big of a Part to be plaid in my life time, but that is me, Think Big or Stay home...

It is true that little things can change the world little by little over great span of time... But time is what I don't have, so I need to go really big to make changes fast and make them count...

Your offer will be put to the test when time will come... BUt first this project needs to take off the ground... Or should I say DIG IN TO THE GROUND... As construction of the first phase begins...
Then I know I'll need all the help and participation of not only all my great fellow REDUSER, but that of all the Filmmakers in the world to come together in this to be what is intended to be... ;)
 
After few days to pounder my head around what I have seen so far, and I have seen nothing as I came strait to RAK and still here for
some shooting before heading back to DUBAI, only one word comes to mind...

WOW...


DUBAI should be added as one of the WONDERS of the WORLD... Seriously!!
 
Ketch, I am a man of few possessions or resources but I am a excellent Dir. of Ops and have been called a "fierce business warrior" if any of what I have to offer can be of help, I am in. At last a great project for humanity! Now that is something to really give your soul for. I am sorry that I can not direct you to the money men, but I do have other great skills......however I can help Ketch, you got it.

You continue to be my inspiration.

MOney is not sure the motivation, but it will sure be the reason to the motivation, and what ultimately will allow for my Vision to become reality is the people that will Join me when such reality becomes so,
and the money will only get so far, thereafter the people will do the rest... SO I am always extremely pleased and joyful of such comments... THANKS GUYS!!

As sonn as I have a bit of time and permission I'll share the a bit more of what this Project embraces and the Countries that will be involved in... BTW John, New Zealand is one of those Countries... ;)

I'm fairly new here and I'm not a red user - simply because I can't afford one. But I think we both share the same dream of making movies and get our movies seen out there.

I'm an independent filmmaker based in Dunedin, New Zealand. I write/produce/direct and shoot my own movies in DSLR's - 7d and 5d. But I dig your attitude. I'm with you, best of luck for your "epic" project and journey! :) If you ever come this far down in NZ I'd be more than happy to help you out as I already know some people in the independent filmmaking scene here.

Hey Ketch
As private investors are more harder to get by, and sometime ask unrealistic profit/shares.
Your project sounds great to be supported by the EU, there are some funds that can help a bit realize your project.
For example there is a media commission that can provide funds http://ec.europa.eu/culture/media/programme/overview/index_en.htm
But there are probably far more commissions that fit for funding.
For bigger funds at the EU it is better to set up a lobby, they more open to new ideas then most people think.

I am just trying to help :-)
 
Good luck Ketch we already have Studio city here, unfortunately it was a complete disaster and has not been finished i.e. as the studios have not been built, 5 years late. We have many individual studios. Unfortunately set building is our weakest discipline here, non existent in fact :(
