Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)
new user here. I know how to use Dual View but I can't seem to find a way to load up a Quicktime reference in the Tray so I can confirm a conform is working properly. Thanks for any help!
In the new versions of Scratch it is necessary to process your reference movie first before using it form the tray.
Start with what Barend said by loading the reference into the construct. Select the clip and in the Media Section of the construct menu select "Process Node." Then enter the player and under Process->Shot Config, you can set the format of your reference to match that of your project.
This way, when you overlay or dual screen view, your reference and your footage will navigate (zoom in / pan) together.
If the node is not processed, and you try to zoom in (for say), only your footage will zoom and the reference will no longer match.
After the format is set, return to the construct and click Tray -> Reference.
Select your shot and then click Add Shot Reference.
