Hi there, new user here on the KX. I have connected up the Monitor to KX in the correct manner (USBC to angled Monitor input slot and the Swivel hinge slot on the Plate. All cables full home and snug. Monitor wouldn't power on. I have tried with both Block and AC power on the X, no difference. I reset the KX top factory default, reinstalled the latest 2.4.4 FW on the X, but cannot upgrade the firmware from the x or SD card onto the Monitor as it won't power up? The X knows its plugged in as as soon as I power up the X , the top panel displays "UPGRADE REQUIRED Features and functions of the attached
DSMC3 Red Touch LCD will be limited until upgraded. Please upgrade using sd card to Pages OS 5 or later."
I can't do that without the screen powering up? Is there anything I am obviously missing here? Or is it a faulty USB RMI cable the only probable cause?
