DSMC2 Side handle only working every other boot cycle.

Here is a weird bug. I received my new DSMC2 side handle last week. I have been using the camera with it for 2 days. When I power up the camera (Weapon Mg) the side handle buttons won't respond. So I power down and power back up and then it is responsive.

Any ideas?

Mine did that for a day then stopped working all together on my forged weapon. Engineers could not figure it out so they had me ship it back. Still waiting to hear what the solution is.

Mine sometimes doesn't work after a power cycle as well. And I can't get it to control focus, is that implemented?

I got mine back from being serviced. They were able to duplicate the problem on their side. They repaired and sent back. Last week on a shoot the buttons would only work 60-70% of the time after rebooting. Super frustrating. Need to send back for evaluation again. Yes the focus wheel works great when it works. You have to have the lens AF switched on for it to work.

Right. That's what I figured. I have three still lenses and it won't control any of them. Guess it's time for a support ticket. Thx.
