I know the red record button on the DSMC1 side handle was infamous for not working consistently (perhaps 2 or 3 presses before it actually started recording), but now I'm starting to see that happen on my DSMC2 side handle. 
I press the large red record button and it doesn't always start recording. Every other button on the handle works consistently. Tried taking it off and using a hand air blower on both the brain and inside of handle. Didn't help. Doesn't seem to matter what resolution or frame rate I'm filming at. Camera used is a MONSTRO. I take great care of my gear so there's no water damage or anything super unusual there. Anyone else dealing with this?
