DSMC2 Release Build v7.1.0.1

SIGNIFICANT CHANGES SINCE PREVIOUS BUILD v7.0.4
* Added "X" DSMC2 BRAIN support

Is this the DSMC² Dragon 5k upgrade for Raven and Scarlet-W owners you mentionned on Facebook ?
If it is, can we expect something in term of specs increase, as Scarlet-W is already quite fine on its own.

Added X DSMC2 Brain Support???? maybe a new camera somewhere??

5K Dragon DSMC2 Unified. Makes sense, the Raven and Scarlet names can now be retired and now everything follows the DSMC2 [sensor name] format. It's the last piece of the unification process and gives that entry-level tier somewhere to go.

Aaron? 5K Dragon with fast (Monstro) internal specs? So 5K at 100fps? But wish to be a 6K Dragon DSMC2 brain

You're probably right. Betting this is it. Time will tell.

This is a big one indeed, good to see that "X" and the Teradek Bolt DSMC2 & Kippertie Revolva support in there, I like surprises and I'm going towards a direction with my next set up that looks like is been fully supported :)
I have been using kippertie Revolve for a few months on older firmware. What exactly was not supported? It worked fine for me.

I think it will be DSMC2 Dragon with built in IPP2! If the new Dragon brain will allow for higher framerates in 5K (or, maybe 6K!) I might take the upgrade path from my S-W, there goes my new year holiday savings.

Just adding support in metadata I believe.

On the Epic-W...

@15s, you see the logo
@30s, you see "initializing"
@50s, full boot-up

God, thats an eternity. A nice and thin hot-swap module please.

For now, get yourself a D-Tap to RED Lemo power cable. That way you can hot swap by using the D tap of a fresh battery into the power port, remove the dead battery from the plate, put the fresh one on the plate, then remove the cable.

A little more involved than just a hot-swap plate, but still quicker than shutting down, swapping, then booting back up.

Edit: Also, mine is fully booted by 30 seconds without a media card in. Initializing happens about 27-28 seconds, and full boot up just shortly after that.

Do you also have problems with an icon monitoring Voltage? (it seems as if the camera couldn't communicate with the V-Lock properly and shows the power right -green icon and for a second it looses info - turning red). Other than that camera works as it should (way more responsive UI after the update <3)
