How cost-efficient is it going this route versus v mount

I have seen batteries as low as $60 vs $300 only reason i am selling because i was scammed on this site i bought a red raven and another RED user did not send the camera and he kept my money. So i am waiting for my money to be returned. on top of that you can charge the battery by plugging it in the wall as well as Power the camera by plugging in wall.
