Wondering how the pre amps hold up on this module? Currently I use a pix xlr for my xlr inputs. Same level as a sound devices piece?

I've got the same question, especially after having deal-breaking audio issues with the V-lock expander. Is nobody recording audio with DSMC2?

I record audio twice a weekend going directly into the v lock io, probably done 20 weddings now with the this rig? See the letters in the beginning and then skip to 1:06, all taken off the board and mixed with on board mics. Set up a lectrosonic wireless and dpa mic
