Great condition professional module for Red DMSC2! Just some typical cosmetic wear. This is the predecessor to the new “DSMC2 Production Module”, there are some pros and cons to each, but I think this Redvolt is the better option!
The Redvolt Expander has almost identical I/O, but allows hot-swapping! The camera can run off of the internal Redvolt battery while you swap v-lock or gold-mount batteries. That’s the other nice thing, you can change just the battery plate, rather than the whole expander!
You don’t need to have a Redvolt battery in this module if you prefer to save weight, but they are light and I loved the hot-swap ability.
This kit comes with the Expander ($3,9500 new), Red timecode lemo -> BNC ($100 new) retail box, 2x Redvolts ($230 new), and a travel charger ($75 new).
