DSMC2 EVF Mount Question...

Question for DSMC2 EVF users....

There are 2 knurled rings on the DSMC2 EVF Mount. One red and one black. The red tightens onto the EVF to attach it to the mount. The black rotates the position of the EVF. Is there anyway to tighten the black knurled ring to increase the friction on the EVF? Mine is kinda loose and the EVF easily drops down from the horizontal viewing position. I haven’t been able to find a way to tighten it? Am I missing something here? Thanks.

Hi, how didi you solved it?
After not using mine for some time now the friction(black ring) is quite loose and the evf hardly stay in the position

the two rings are independent of eachother and one is for friction and the other for locking onto the the camera. tighten the one labeled “lock” and then adjust the other ring to taste, if i remember correctly
