A-Box allows for two XLR microphones to be plugged into the RED DSMC2 Brains (Monstro, Helium, Gemini), Weapon, Epic Weapon (Epic-W), Scarlet Weapon (Scarlet-W), Raven, and other DSMC2 cameras while using the Base Expander Module. It is also compatible with any camera having a single 3.5mm input (also referred to as 1/8"). Highest quality professional grade connectors. Comes with Bolt On 19mm Rod for attaching to any 1/4-20 threaded hole and 15mm Adapter Bushing for clamping to 15mm rods. This adapter does not provide phantom power and the RED Base Expander Module is a required item (not included).

Hey Brendan, the A-box doesn't have a preamp, right? And if you're using two different mics on the inputs does each mic come through on the footage mixed with both mics on both tracks, or are they separated each mic on its own track? Thanks for they info.

Hey Chris - no preamp, and I'm not sure about the mixed tracks because I can't test out (I only have one lav), but I can ask!
