DSMC2 7" Won't Power On Monitor Firmware?

I bought a used 7" DSMC2 monitor for my Epic-W. The camera boots up fine and I can use the sidekick, but the monitor doesn't power up. I had 7.0.1, downgraded to 6.3.106 then back to 7.0.1 and its not working. I've tried the top and see pogo. Someone said that the monitor needs updated firmware and its $100. The contacts on the monitor look clean. Any other thoughts?

I have the same problem. Sending it to Red for evaluation , when connected both the LEDs keep blinking green for more than 10 minutes.
