DSMC Side Handle issues

Has anyone else noticed an issue with their DSMC side handle's Navigation Group buttons falling off? We pulled our Epic out of it's pelican a few days ago to find the roller dial and enter button laying in the bottom of the case. After replacing the Navigation Group buttons, they can still be removed way too easily. Is this normal?
