DSMC Shooting

hi dear dsmers.

could anyone point out to me the best settings for shooting
fashion on the epic for getting the best movie result (for hd internet
vid) and on the extracted stills. (lowest motionblur, noise and so on...)

we light the model with two 4ks and i figured out to shoot
5k ff with 50 fps (redcode 4:1) and a 400th looks pretty good
and gives you more possible stills to choose from...

any hints?

Hi Christian,

Haven't used the Epic yet but that should give you some nice sharp stills - obviously your footage would be in slow motion though, and speeding it back up again will look a bit unnatural given the high shutter speed. But if you're happy to have it all play out at 50fps then I think those settings will give you both nice stills and nice footage.
