I've never had a RED product physically break like this before. I can't even point to any incident which could have caused the handle to snap in half like this. I noticed a chink in the arm of the outrigger, it felt like it had too much give and within 20min it just broke in half ....on the lightest camera build possible on a red epic dragon.
Fortunately it's a relatively inexpensive component ....Not sure if this sort of thing would be under warranty?
