DSMC MODULAR ASSAULT PLATE PACK won't fit DSMC2?

Hi All,
Wondering if anyone else is having this problem. I have the DSMC MODULAR ASSAULT PLATE PACK, and on RED.com, it says it will work with all DSMC cameras, versions 1 and of course 2. However, the flange on mine (maybe something I am doing wrong) which mates to the 15mm LW rod bracket hits the fascia on the front of both of my DSMC2 cameras, not allowing them to sit seated on the plate. Not that big of a deal until you mount a long zoom lens, and try putting the RED Matte Box with support on. The lens is canted up too high for the brackets to reach. Anyway, wondered if anyone else has encounter this problem?

Older ones need to be sent into Red to get fixed. They fixed mine earlier this year. Other than shipping to them, there was no charge.

Thanks Stacey again! However, it looks like I MIGHT be out of luck because even though my plate is new, I bought it from someone else who bought it from RED, so technically, it is second hand. Hope that won't matter.
