DSMC Handle / Scarlet X

Hi everybody,

Today I try to install the firmware v6.3.27

After reconnecting the DSMC handle, my Red Scarlet-X not recognized it, no LCD, no function, but the battery Redvolt works.

I search on this forum an issue, but I didn't find a real solution.

I try to put it off and on, re-install firmware, reseeding, but nothing.

I send a ticket to Red, but if you have an idea... Thanks for your help!

Hi Sebastian! The same thing happened to me when I did the update. I lost all function of the side handle and no LCD display. I had to downgrade the firmware from 6.3.27 to 5.3.49 before it came back to life. I have not tried another Firmware version as yet, as it seems to be running great at the moment. Not sure if its a code issue or h/ware as yet hope this helps mate.

Exactly the same here. After upgrading to v6.3.27 the side handle is not recognised and shows "SH UNKWN" in yellow in the lower status row.

The solution is to downgrade to v5.3.49 which updates the handle's firmware then upgrade to v6.3.27 after which it will work just fine.
