DSMC Features...

[Casey Green]

Hi RED Team,

Thanks for all the hard work and endless upgrades! Loving our cameras and the opportunity to stay involved with the RED community.

Quick question. What is the status / timeline on the rest of the DSMC features? The RED ONE still has some timelapse and ramping feature (AFAIK) that EPIC and Scarlet are lacking that many were hoping would be in the release version of the cameras.

Such features I've been looking forward touched on the nature of the DSMC system... a true Motion and Stills camera. I'd love to see more developed on the Stills side / taking advantage of the Side Handle more as well as other features added that are included on many DSLR cameras.

If this is not on the roadmap for the immediate future, no worries... just was hoping for an update.

Looking forward to the evolution of DSMC.

From the latest redcine-x thread:

Build 4 is the big one coming.. December sometime. Power Management, 1:1 joystick zoom, long exposures, timelapse, pre-record and ramping are just some of the highlights... which also includes your image flip Will

For some people.. this is one of those builds that will be like a new camera all over again....

Going to be a Merry Christmas :yesnod:
