DROBO RAID PROBLEM

Hello,

I have got a problem with a DROBO RAID (20TB) I got from a production company to work with - they stored the first shooting days on it already and now I should continue working with this unit:

- when I connect the DROBO to my iMac, MacBookPro, MacPro via USB 2.0 (the DROBO itself has a USB 3 connector) it shows in the finder and I could work with the unit, but it is to slow
- when I connect it via Thunderbolt to the iMac (2011, OSX 10.8) it doesn't show up at all

any hint how I could make the DROBO RAID show up via Thunderbolt?

Hello -- haven't tried this myself, but there are TB to USB3 adapters & this might actually be a faster solution than getting DROBO to fix it (but pound on them, too).
Just an alternate solution ...

i'd tell the client about the port problem and make them buy a new drive and deal with it if its there bum array
