[SOLD] Drobo Mini 4 bay Thunderbolt storage with 4 1TB drives and 64Gb SSD buffer

[Steve_Fish]

For Sale: Drobo Mini 4 bay Thunderbolt storage with 4 1TB drives and 64Gb SSD buffer installed. I bought this for field archiving RED footage for a project in a remote area of Africa. It is like new and only had a couple hours of usage. I don’t have any field projects on the horizon so I’ve decided to sell the setup. I also had a 64Gb SSD installed in the SSD slot on the bottom of the unit. The SSD acts as a read/write buffer to speed up transfers. I used it with Thunderbolt (has 2 ports for daisy chaining), but it also has USB 3.0. It is reformatted and ready to go. Original cost of the complete setup was over $750. Will sell for $600 including free ground shipping anywhere in the US. Faster shipping available if you pay the additional charges. International shipments OK too. PayPal OK. Hand delivery at NAB a possibility too.

Update: reducing price for Red users to $550 until Sunday. Then it goes on eBay.
