Well .. I could be wrong here - but distributed rendering via Qmaster by selecting clusters - is NOT the same as having individual versions of the application independently processing -

I just want the application to automate and execute the process of splitting up the batch - I want to- for example - have 300 Gigs of Redcode in RR - and select 3 workstations on the network and set the destination folders(s) for the workstations - and press ROCK

Ya, basically, that would work exactly as you want with Qmaster, Redline, and a SAN. All that Deanan would have to do is add the 'select clusters' option (one cluster = one machine in the default Qmaster Quickcluster install). Not that there couldn't be other ways to do it... I love choice... but it's so close already!

I'm I the only one who has a 1024x768 screen? I cannot select the output folder or press start on my 15-inch screen. There would be plenty of room on the right side of the list for those buttons.
