  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

DRANGON footage + Red Rocket X or Classic Red Rocket

i don't think it's coded for dragon is the thing, and jarred said the coding for gpu debayering is a priority and that will be faster than the original rocket anyways
 
Not yet. Maybe never. GPU Debayer will probably be faster in a few months, if not comparable now.

RRX is less if you purchased a Dragon upgrade. I think it was around 5k, maybe even 4500.

Maybe you can find a friend to pickup your Dragon in LA and fly it down for World Cup on a free ticket. Customs fees > $1000?

I have two original Rockets at home, I don't know when Dragon will knock on my door but hopefully I will still be able to use these cards… Please Red, make some magic and update the firmware of the original RR.

I would greatly appreciate that too, especially since I had my rocket fixed for 2200$ just a few months ago :/
 
The good news is that now rockets will be sold to the 2nd hand indy guys, buying R1s for less, Epic for less and all their gear totals for less. Making it possible for some new folks to step in the door.

i don't have anything to say other than the fact that i really like the fact that this thread is titled 'drangon'... it's fun to try to say. try it in different dialects. (:
