  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Thanks for the pics Samuel. Was interesting to see such well-lit shots so heavily underexposed.

Had a play with them in Redcine-X. Tried to bring the levels up a bit, while keeping the noise to a minimum, but mainly focused on neutralizing the atmospheric lighting, just to see what was there.








































Would be interesting to see how organic and grain-like that noise looks when in motion, could be a nice effect.

Awesome Grading...In which program did you grade it?

Dennis, I didn't even know the red coals were there, I thought it was just ashen wood.



Showing the fire and glowing coals, while maintaining the other colours in the shot, would take a more advanced kind of grading than I can do at the moment.
