Hello, someone tell me? how to distinguish the new from the old Dragon issued before October 3, 2014

Thank you, Chris

The easiest way I can think of is to check the OLPF, updates before October 2014 had an Olpf that you can't change, no screws, no name, the camera had to either be sent back to Red to change the olpf to interchangeable, or you had the option of buying a special kit to do it yourself, I did it myself and still have the kit and old olpf.

Nawaf, a huge thank you! And where to look and buy kit?

and 1 more thing to clear is it compulsory to install OLPF in dragon ?

No IR filters needed for dragon. Only MX sensor.

No not compulsory to swap out OLPF, only if you want to use the low light or standard filter or a 3rd party such as KipperTie
