Dragon Upgrade: Side Handle Not Detected

After Scarlet Dragon upgrade, side handle is not detected. Firmware is 5.2.41. No issue before upgrade. Have powered off, removed handle, reconnected, powered up, but still not detected. Any suggestions?

Roll back to previous upgrade. Eliminate variables.

I reinstalled 5.2.41, performed a System Restore and Hardware Rediscover. Then downgraded the firmware to 5.2.38 and did the same. Then to 5.1.67, each with no result. There are no bent or missing pins and no debris. The contacts are clean. I have submitted a support ticket and got a quick response, but still no communication between the Scarlet brain and side handle.

OK, I reinstalled 5.2.41. Removed the handle and reinstalled it. Powered up the camera and performed Rediscover Hardware. Restarted again and now the side handle is back.
All is well.
