Anyone willing to share the best settings in RedCine for transcoding Dragon footage when you don't have a RedRocket-X? I guess I'm wondering if there's any particular settings that need to be switched in order to leverage the GPU. I might of even seen something about the very latest version of RedCine being slightly slower because it dropped the GPU in favor of CUDA? Maybe I'm imagining that, but I can't seem to dig up this information right now as I don't generally follow the post-workflow threads very closely. If it has already been discussed maybe someone more familiar with those threads could point me in the right direction, and if it hasn't, perhaps this is a good place for a sans Rocket-X workflow discussion to start. Thanks!

Also, I don't have the specifics of the machine being used, this is for a client who took footage back with them to the UK and is asking for help making sure they are using the best practices to get the footage into the format they need. It was all green screen, shot at 6K, 50 fps.

No matter what use full premium at the end, any resolution you like just for rushes and offline editing- 1/4 is often a good compromise. As for speed, yes latest build is slower - Cuda and Open CL are both GPU but new Cuda implementation is not efficient yet.
