  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

some say, only motion gives an impression about the image. but i do remember, Red System is for stills too (!)

Anyway - i love to have the small black box with me to shoot also private stuff, and is there any better tool to capture your kids as a 6K camera ? They will have fun when they are grown up and watch this on their ... 8K (?) Screens ;-) - who knows
will be better as HD footage. Indeed.

here are some samples i shot at a birthday party of my mother, and i captured endless good stills of my twins - as i shot around 90-100 f/s - and 1/200 shutter + more ...

the compression is more than okay ...

flickr shows them bit oversharped, but doesn´t matter.

the compact size of Epics combined with resolution and DR is state of art - and here - tired a bit - i don´t speak about ... noise. all is ISO800 out of RCX and scaled in Photoshop. Light curves.

it´s all about dense and highlights here - it´s simply better ...

i will edit motion of course of this for the family, ... 4K master.

i used the red prime here, bit too heavy over the whole evening, but still great glas ... i am very pleased with the high compression in the native files, looks very good on screens.
 
I'm did not received my Dragons yet so I don't know how much of these awesome shots should be contributed to the Dragon and how much to the lens. They are simply AWESOME!
 
having the Red Primes from day 1 on, ... i can say for my personal taste, that i really prefer the Dragon Images. It´s a different look -
 
no, not all. 35mm is quite okay in WS, 25mm will have vignette, ... i am checking the market for wider glas right now, but from 35mm on i will stay on Red Primes, a) as workout ;-) b) they are still crisp and quite fast c) since i have 2 kids i must watch the money a bit more heh heh
