Hey guys. Apologies if this information is somewhere else, but I did some digging and couldn't find it.

Anyone know what the power consumption is shooting 6k 24fps on the Dragon? Still in the ballpark of 60w? I'm shooting a doc where I may not have power for a day or two at a time and need to know how many batteries I should put on my camera order.

Thanks much!

I too am very interested in this. How is power compared to an Epic?

In terms of battery swapping, it does not seem like they are more frequent than previously. It's seems that actually I get a bit more out of them. It's not just the camera but the lcd touchscreen is a pretty good power draw just on its own. Have not tested redvolts, just vmount batteries.

made some quick measurments a while back.

I find it hard to believe that battery voltage was at exactly 16.51 volts for all of these tests. Would be much more helpful to see a real-time power readout while a camera is being used.

Average:-P test only took maybe 5 minutes, no real significant drop in voltage. It was a very quick and short test, basically pressed record and waited for couple seconds for the readings to settle and then wait couple more seconds for min and max.
