  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Dragon impressions

For grades, we use REDCINE-X, Adobe Speed Grade, and DaVinci Resolve 10. Sometimes just one over the others, other times we mix and match. Depends on the working environment, how the client wants their footage handled, and/or what's accessible (if we're not using our own gear).

Hi Rob,

Can you tell us what grading system do you use with your mbp & ioxt setup?
sounds like a good mobile solution.

Thanks,

Rob,

I'm wondering how you setup and what options you used to create your quad SSD RAID 0? Software raid using Disk Utility, or another method? What drives did you use, what read and write speeds were you able to achieve?

Hi Rob,

Thanks for that info. I didn't make myself very clear. How are you running your IOXT for grading? I have a dual link hdsdi monitor but couldn't get a signal to it from my MacBook Pro using resolve ( which I imagine is a BM vs AJA thing). Is Speedgrade the answer?

Thanks and awesome reel btw! Those perfromance artist pieces are completely rad!

Cheers,
