Dragon HDMI out res issues

So we film a ton with Aerials and with the Epic our system worked fine: Hmi out to hdmi down coverter to 5.8ghz wireless transmitter. Now with the dragon it wont work. We tried evry hertz setting, and every resolution. any help ideas? do I have to reset the camera everytime i change the settings?

it's working fine with mine.

You checked the output frequency, tried several of them ? Some devices are pickier than others.
I found that sometime, nyrius wireless or redbyte converter needs the camera to be rebooted with the devices connected to function.

Have you tried switching the HDMI cable around. Apparently there are "one-way" HDMI cables. I laughed and said that's not how HDMI cables work... and then I switched the cable around and it worked.

My smallHD wasn't working this week and I thought it was a Dragon upgrade issue. I swapped the cable around and presto! Video feed.

Tried both ,and no luck. The converter box is compliant with hdmi 1.3 and takes a 1080p 60 hrtz signal and converts it.

I actually just tried something crazy and it works. I plugged things in as follows: Dragon > paralynx > small hd DP4 > hdmi converter box > wirless tx > RX monitor and it worked

FIXED:

Ok so you HAVE TO set the correct hrtz etc with everything unplugged from the camera, THEN power the camera down. Then with correct settings changed in camera before powering it down, plug everything in and power back up. It works!
