Dragon Firmware 5.3.29 updating...90 min and counting

My dragons fans been roaring on and off for the past 90 min, the last update took like 10 min. Anyone else have it take this long? The only think attached to the camera is the BOMB and Side Handle, no lens. The 2 LED lights above the power button are still blinking green rapidly. Thank in advance

My new 7" touch was causing update problems. After no success ( 3 attempts = 1 hour of blinking lights) I reloaded an older firmware and that took about 1/2 hour to load. I then re-loaded the new firmware - took about 30 minutes - but it loaded AOK. Maybe try loading without the bomb and/or sidehandle attachted.

Hi, I have the same problem. I can shut down the camera and reload the old firmware without affecting the camera??

I updated yesterday with no issue, the update took a minute or so to process.
Only think I had connected to the Brain was the RedMote and a HDMI cable going to SmallHD.
