  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Meet the Carbon Dragon.

With a Carbon fiber shell and side SSD matched with a machined magnesium body and machined magnesium lens mount it cuts off a full pound from the standard Epic weight. It takes a tremendous amount of time to build each one of these but they are quite incredible.

We are also excited to announce that the first 2 Carbon Dragons are being used by HBO for Game of Thrones, a fitting first flight for one of our all-time favorite shows.

Carbon Dragons will be available to purchase on a one- by-one, build-to-order basis starting at the end of October for $50k, first come, first serve.

Oh man... awesome! That pound makes all the difference on fashion & doco shoots... you have me looking at my options.
 
That's ridiculously tempting. I think it will be a no-brainer. A pound lighter is huge.

And Game Of Thrones is awesome. Dinklage has such a great character.
 
Haha - remember, Jarred, a few weeks back when you announced that Dragon was shipping, I mentioned that just night before I had seen the episode where the Dragon eggs hatched. It was a sign...

Well, I finished watching season 3 just last night and look what has happened... you announce the Carbon and Game of Thrones.

Now, what is going to happen so that I can afford to order one? :smiley:

nope.. just a little pre-IBC love to get people's blood flowing.. My impatience got the better of me :)

When IBC shows up just pretend you didn't already hear about the Carbon Dragon or the GPU REDCINE-X :)
 
Truly incredible and so glad to see it's making it to the game of thrones shoots. A fitting match indeed.
 
Has anyone noticed that the number of views on this thread is zero right now? See - you really haven't seen this at all.

wait, so is Jarred now the Mother of Dragons? :-)

Very cool news, I love this show so much I've contemplated figuring out schemes of how to work on it
