  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

What was the reason to not go 5K 12fps internally? Is the grass strobed motion was noticed then?
Somewhere on reduser I saw a 5k 12 fps Scarlet footage (a girl with a car's keys) stretched to 24 fps and it looked very fine!

First of all before my critic's words I wish to tell you that I can't create such a great images as you even closely. My expirience is lower than yours and you can drop my words to the trash if you wish. Also I have no knowledge of your production goal. I dont know what is the song about. I cant imagine what feeling you wish to achieve from the picture but I wish to give you my opinion anyways.
By my taste warm look is nice. With the colder look you can lost naturality of the shot.
Clouds on the left upper side of the picture looks too grey. They looks mathematically grey. But shadows on the ground looks more blue. It is impossible in real world and because of that clouds looked inserded as FX. Can you tint the clouds to the same cast as shadows on the ground? By the same time that gray look creates some dramatic atmosphere.
Overall feeling from the picture is dramatic and sad a bit and this is good. Sun's spots on the grass between the shadows and God's raylight looks amaizing! Hill on the right side looks too bright a bit and drain attention I think. It is harder to spot the actor in the grass.

Matthew! Criticize of other's job is very simply. To create it by yourself is much harder and I know it. So take my critics by the right way please. :)

Music video starts in very stylish manner. I like it! Wind and other enviroment sound supports the mood very well. Can't wait for the final clip!

You sir, are absolutely right..... Those blue shadows and grey greys look terrible! Thanks for the valuable feedback :)
And as for 5k down sampled to 1080p, it's output at speed! Meaning it records up to 30p externally. Not 12fps. That's what I was so excited about :)
