Got my Dragon yesterday from Irvine. Thank you Jim, Jarred, my bomb squad rep Clark, RMA lady Stacey, and everyone else at Red. I really appreciate the hard work and dedication. Being able to shoot IMAX quality imagery on this tiny little thing is amazing. I'm off to shoot in Bodie ghost town on monday so I'll be sure to post some files when I get an internet connection.

AWESOME... Congratulations Chad. ENJOY!!!

Here are some ADD extracts from our recent shoot for "The Southwest" film in Bodie CA. These are all ungraded, resized, and output to jpg. Sorry they are small...the internet here on the road in this crappy hotel is abysmal.

Mysterious woman of Morey. A couple months ago we were out in the middle of absolute nowhere nevada, filming at an old ghost town. I kept waiting for the eyes to follow me around the room haha

Congrats on the upgrade! Can you tell us a little about the film?

I've been meaning to post some photos of our recent shoots. This last week we were out at the Tent City Jail in Phoenix. Thanks to Curt Pair and David Jones for running steadicam and 1st AC. A huge thank you to my sponsor Leica/CW-Sonderoptic for letting us use some Summicron-C, these are by far my favorite primes. Most of the portraits were shot on the 25mm or 35mm. Sorry for crummy laptop grade.

*this one has a lot of background detail but needs a better colorist than me to do their magic.

The shots look great Chad! I don't find the 'grade' bad at all! You take that last shot into Resolve and in just a few quick minutes, it will be singing like crazy! Trust me! ;)

What a fun project! Thanks for the opportunity! Can't wait to see this at an Imax theater!

Damn this stuff looks fantastic. Keep it up. Can't wait to see the first color-pass stuff.
