Hi night owls...

Does anyone know if there ever was a release of REDCINE-X that supports both Dragon AND the RREncode Plugin for REDRAY?

I can't, for the life of me, figure out why this was not supported in subsequent RC-X builds, unless I just missed it.

Having a REDRAY, I really wish I could output my Dragon footage to .red files...

Would be great if they released a new version that can do Dragoncolor2. Would love to watch it on my redraw

I have to admit, the whole REDray thing has mystified me. Very little said about it after a big deal was made initially. It coulda been a contender!

+1, RRencode support on current RCX builds would be most helpful. That said, if it would take a great deal of engineering resources to accomplish I can understand why it's not a priority.

Speaking of engineering resources, I really hope there is a team at RDC working on enabling video output on the RR-X, it would be very valuable to me and many other RedUsers...

Cheers - #19

If you haven't seen it already, download REDCINE-X Build 35 Beta. RRencode and RR-X Video Out

Just catching up after an exciting NAB trip and I realized I needed to update this thread with a huge thank you to RED for following through and updating REDcine-X with REDRAY support and Rocket-X HD-SDI playback!

It means a whole hell of a lot that you continue to show such great support! Thanks again!
