We are in the process of finishing grading a feature using Scratch. There has been interest expressed in using AE to lay a grain effect over the whole film. We have been working in Redlog Film and my plan was to export a DPX sequence and bring that into AE. Has anyone come up with a good pipeline (render settings) to maintain the color that was given in Scratch when rendering back out to DPX.

If you worked in scratch with no luts, just renderred DPX redlog film and graded, then you simply render out DPX as linear, no luts applied and open in afx using no luts. Keep it all linear and stay linear, and don't use luts.

Avoid any use of Quicktime, stay with DPX's, and you won't have any problems.
